The Lodge Forest Visitor Centre is the ideal base to explore the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, with trails suitable for all, tree top adventures, a great café, toilets and local information. The visitor center and car park are usally open from 10am until 4pm (charge for parking). Access outside these times is by parking outside of the gate and walking in. This Adventure Lab follows the Waterfall Trail, a pleasant stroll through the trees past a monument to the Women's Timber Corps, leading to a dramatic waterfall that appears as if by magic. Plenty of places to sit or play along the way. Wide, firm gravel surface throughout, with some loose stones. Long gentle slope for 400m with some short moderate sections. Short section of uneven wooden boardwalk. The trail is wheelchair acessible, and wheelchairs are available to borrow from the visitor centre. Dog and child friendly.
