Johnson City Courthouse Square

Johnson City Texas is a unique, presidential town in the heart of the Hill Country and the county seat of Blanco County, Texas. Founded by James P. Johnson, who donated a 320-acre site on the Pedernales River for the founding of the town in 1879, the town was the hometown of Lyndon B. Johnson, 36th President of the United States. Walk the courthouse square and explore the shops and eateries. Pecan Street Brewing is highly recommended!
