On the Trail With Estes Park's Mountain Women

Estes Park's mountain women welcome you! At each stop along this paved trail, a woman from Estes Park's history will tell you something about herself and what you are seeing. You may get ideas for your next local destination or hike--or just marvel at the grit and accomplishments of our local women. The stops are along a 1.5 mile, flat portion of the trail, but it is at 7500 feet elevation. If this is your first day at altitude, take it easy. It can be done from either end, or, if you are feeling vigorous and want to add a few gentle hills, you can complete the loop around the lake for an approximately 4 mile hike or bike. Dogs must be on leash. Recommended parking is in the free garage off US 36 behind the Visitor Center, at the listed coordinates. There is also parking at the Lake Estes Marina and other nearby locations. Parking downtown can be very difficult. For the answers, punctuate just as written. Watch for coordinates for the bonus cache!
