Greenwich Park

Welcome to Greenwich Park, a former hunting park and one of the largest green spaces in south-east London. It is part of the Greenwich World Heritage site and is listed Grade I on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens. Greenwich Park is open all year round, from 6am until dusk. James I enclosed the park with a brick wall, twelve feet high and two miles (3 km) long at a cost of £2000, much of which remains and defines the modern boundary. There are many fascinating sites within the park (look out for the Anglo-Saxon barrow cemetery as you walk around) and this Ad Lab will take you to 5 of them. The locations can be visited in any order. The numbers needed to calculate the coordinates for the bonus cache (GC9YJFH) can be found in the journal for each location. For an excellent tour of the park which will take you to many more sites I recommend Skicycle's Wherigo: https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC7K9YR
