Do you throw up your hands when you see a Mystery Cache because you have no idea where to begin? This Adventure Lab introduces some of the common techniques used in Mystery Caches. It is not a comprehensive list of all the techniques used, as hiders are allowed a great deal of flexibility in creating mystery caches. The techniques here are only meant to get you started. At each location you will need to solve a puzzle using one of the techniques described. At each location a video describes the techniques in more detail and introduces tools on the GeocachingToolbox.com website that may help in solving the puzzles. But you may solve each section using whatever method you like. The locations can be done in any order, so if you are having trouble at any location you can move on to another and come back after learning more about the technique.
