This adventure lab is not your average geocaching adventure, as you will follow Grant's Army from near the Mississippi River at Bruinsburg to the Big Black River Bridge and then on to Vicksburg The adventure will take you to the major battlefields that were necessary for Grant to lay siege to Pemberton's Confederate forces in Vicksburg. This cache is organized in a chronological loop route that starts and ends in Vicksburg. From the park's Visitor Center, you will drive over 150 miles to complete this lab cache...It's not as daunting as what Grant's men endured during the campaign, as they made the journey on foot in 17 days. Do not fret, the whole drive can be done in about 4 hours but give yourself extra time for exploration along the way. This cache makes for a great day trip if you have a couple of days in the Vicksburg area and are looking for a fun adventure or an excuse to take a nice drive.
