This adventure is part of the 2021 Jacksonville Geocaching Challenge sponsored by the Friends of JaxParks, Visit Jacksonville, and JaxParks. Take a stroll down the river and explore all the Northbank Riverwalk has to offer! We start our tour at the sculpture entitled "Showing the Way." This sculpture honors one of the city's great political and community leaders, Tillie Fowler. It was placed on the Riverwalk in 2009. It is an oak tree (not a brain as many people think) with three tiers of influence to family, community and country. This adventure will take you on on a 3 mile walk and will take about an hour. Let's walk east along the Riverwalk towards downtown. Make sure you have pencil and paper for this adventure. At the end of each stage, you will be given pieces of the puzzle to solve for the bonus cache, GC9AA53. Writing down the clues will make solving the puzzle easier.
