Moustiers Ste Marie

Moustiers enjoyed great renown in the 17th and 18th centuries thanks to its recognizable earthenware thanks to its colors: milky white and blue called Moustiers, but this production stopped almost entirely at the end of the 19th century. Nestled against a rocky escarpment, Moustiers is often compared to a nativity scene with its star suspended in the void. Its church, its ramparts, its chapels, its aqueduct, shape a homogeneous and lively architectural ensemble much appreciated by visitors.
