Steeples

To many North Adams is known as The City of Steeples. The 1st Church was established in the late 1700's with a few more being built and rebuilt in the 1800''s. Due to the large volume of immigrant workers in the mills and factories during the late 1800's and early 1900's North Adams had five Catholic churches. 2 for the Irish community, 2 for to French Canadians, and 1 for the Italians. There was also a Presbyterian, a Methodist a Universalist, an Episcopalian Church, and a temple for the Jewish Community. Over the years some of the Churches have combined congregations leaving behind most of the buildings. This Adventure will give you a nice 25 minute walk to 5 of them. 2 puzzle caches are a part of this series. You walk past 1 during this AL and the other is very close, but since there are no more open placement locations downtown you will need to drive all 3 finals. These can be done in any order but I suggest parking and walking from St Johns. How many steeples can you count? ( not required)
